So if you knew you only had 30 days left to live what would you do? Curious... been thinking about this all day.

We're having a bonfire Friday night here at the house. With all those trees down from the storms we've got lots to burn so it's going to be a fun one! If you want to come then come... just bring something to add to the fun. A package of hot dogs, cookies, buns or a soda would be nice. Also, bring your instrument if you play one. I would love to have some worship time. We going to start the fire as soon as it gets dark so come around 6ish. Hope to see you and your friends, too!!

Picture this... Aaron picks up the nerf gun and heads up the stairs. Suddenly he stops to look at us and says "be vewy, vewy quiet.. I'm huntin' wabbits.. uh, emos." Yes, Daniel, Dylan, Stevie and Michael were all upstairs unaware, hehe!

We ran away this weekend. Just Colby and I took off... left everything behind... and ran away! It was wonderful. We left Friday morning and took the long way to Nashville; stopped at every pawn shop/goodwill/antique store we saw and loved every second of it. We found some great antique stores in downtown N-ville and dreamed of all the furniture we would love to have some day. (You know us Woodwards and wood.) When we decided we were hungry we looked for something with atmosphere downtown so we spotted an Italian restaurant that looked good. The atmosphere was something alright. I felt so out of place that I didn't enjoy myself or the food. I guess I have budget (read cheap) tastebuds and enjoy the atmosphere of life a whole lot more. Sat on the way home we stopped at a Chili's. The food was better; there was life going on around us with a football game on the tv and families and fun going on everywhere. At the "ritzy" place we couldn't even get the waitress to talk to us much less smile. (Maybe wealthy people don't want their servers to talk or something.) Anyway, we probably won't be looking for "atmosphere" again for a while. At one of the antique stores we found something we've been looking for. We bought a 1970's console record player and everything in it works!! Of course, we had to buy a few albums to go with it. We found The Beach Boys, Peter Frampton, Boston, and a few others. Colby is having so much fun with this purchase but I love watching him. Now we need to have a party so we can play a bunch of old 70's music and dance around like silly people. I can't wait! Wanna come?! We should really run away more often, I think. Life is too short ;D

Hi friends and family, We want to have our usual Oct bonfire but with it being so dry we can't light a fire outside. Now if we have plenty of rain this week then we'll have a bonfire but if not then we'll just have a "get-together" here at our house. So put this on your calendar: Funtimes At the Woodwards Friday Oct 19th 6:00 or when you get here Bring a drink/chips If nothing else we'll cook some hotdogs/burgers on the grill and have fun hanging out together. OH! Bring your instruments if you want so we can Praise the Lord!!! IF you're reading this you're invited... if you want you can bring a friend, too!
